A QANTAS aeroplane was taking off from Canberra Airport at the time, and I had a clear photo of it from the path intersection.

This path, whilst well formed, is much steeper than any other path on the mountain.

A bit further up the mountain is a sign warning of underground cabling in the vicinity. The sign was erected by Telecom Australia before they changed their name to Telstra, and has clear signs of fading from being exposed to the elements.

Just beyond here is the summit.
